Northern Broadsides are looking for new trustees to join the board, helping us meet the challenges and share the excitement of the coming years. As a small company and charity, we rely on our Trustees to bring diverse skills and life experience to the table. Our Trustees are dynamic and passionate individuals, who share the belief that the arts can change people’s lives and shape the places where we live.

We are also making an open call for people to join three of our sub-groups:  

• Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) sub-committee
• Art Squad
• Eco Squad

 We are particularly interested to hear from:

• First time Trustees, especially those aged under 30
• People from a working class background
• People from the Global Majority
• People with a disability
• People who do not identify with traditional gender categories
• People with experience of working in an arts venue
• People who live or work in Calderdale, although Trustees can be based anywhere
